Jerry Wayne Daniels, age 82, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at his residence.
Born in Dyersburg, TN, on October 29, 1943, to the late Moody and Christine Stafford Daniels, Jerry was a creative soul who loved making antique tractors out of old sewing machines. He found immense pleasure in nature and being outdoors. A member of The Bridge Church of God of Prophecy, Jerry loved his God deeply. He was a 1961 graduate of Dyersburg High School and attended Dyersburg State Community College. Jerry worked as a maintenance supervisor for Jimmy Dean and loved his family greatly.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2026 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Stephen Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors beginning at 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Survivors include his daughter, Lori Scott and husband, Robbie, of Dyersburg, TN; seven grandchildren, Krista Allen and husband, Gary, Leah Gean and husband, Theron, Savannah Clifton and husband, Tyler, Holly Binkley and husband, Kevin, Candice West and husband, Cody, Anna Daniels and Bradley Daniels; and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by the love of his life for 65 years, Linda Seratt Daniels; a son, Jerry Daniels, Jr.; and his sister, Jeannie Littlejohn.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Theron Gean, Gary Allen, Tyler Clifton, Bradley Daniels, Robbie Scott and Mick Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be David McGuire and John David Karr.
