Jerry Lee Baker, 83, of Dyersburg, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Highlands of Dyersburg Health & Rehab.
He was a retired project superintendant for Forcum-Lannom and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a Baptist.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Blakeburn officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 12-1:15 p.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Lucille Baker of Dyersburg; two daughters, Linda Gurley and husband, Tim, and Lynn Pyles and husband, James, all of Dyersburg; two sons, Lee Baker and wife, Donna, and Jeff Baker, all of Dyersburg; a brother, Joe Larry Baker of Dyersburg; seven grandchildren, Kristen Bird and husband, Will, Trae Baker and wife, Melissa, Jacob Baker, Joshua Baker, Hunter Gurley, Adam Pyles and Ashley Pyles; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Artie and Wilma Hudson Baker; and a sister, Lorene Gurley.
Pallbearers will be Tony Cooper, Raymond Cooper, Barry Rogers, Pat Rogers, Clifford Hopgood and Chad Baker.
