Jeffrey Glenn Norris, 46, of Wynnburg, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at his residence.
He was a quality control engineer for Alumex, member of Wynnburg Baptist Church, 1995 graduate of Union University, attended Memphis State University, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order, a 1984 graduate of Lake County High School and an U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Wynnburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Chip Davis and the Rev. Larry Byassee officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Survivors include his two daughters, Allie Elizabeth Norris Crawford and husband, Micheal, of Jacksonville, FL and Mary Katherine Norris of Dennis, MS; his mother, Evelyn June Norris of Wynnburg; his father, Glenn D. Norris of Tiptonville; two sisters, Janet Norris Gates of Frankfort, KY and Regina Norris Jones of Tiptonville; two grandchildren, Aaron Micheal Crawford and Vada Madelyn Crawford; two nieces, Heather Jones and Madelyn Gates; two nephews, Joshua Jones and Robert Gates; and a great-niece, Ema Kate Jones.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Glenn Norris; his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Thelma Norris; and his maternal grandparents, Harvey and Mattie Hearod.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Avery, Bob Gates, Robert Gates, Bill Jones, Joshua Jones, Bobby Norris, John Spence and Thomas Watts. Honorary pallbearers will be Lake County Classmates, Teammates and Brothers of Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity.
