Obituary

Jeffrey Hendren, 49, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at his residence.

He was a gaming dealer at Lady Luck Casino, a Catholic, graduate of Dyersburg High School-Class of 1980, graduate of Dyersburg State Community College, attended Middle Tennessee State University, an avid sportsman, loving father and loved his family.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Derry Thompson, Tim Knight, Roger Hendren and the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his two sons, Zach Hendren of Knoxville and Evan Hendren of Hendersonville; his companion, Kitty Harris of Dyersburg; his father, James Thomas "Doc" Hendren of Dyersburg; three brothers, Jimmy Hendren of Morganfield, KY., Bobby Hendren and Roger Hendren, both of Alamo; and a sister, Lynn Hendren McDivitt of Dyersburg.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Ann Hipp Hendren.

Pallbearers will be Tim Knight, Jeff McGuire, Perry Lynn Holcomb, Terry Dial, Chip Worley and John Tom McDivitt.
