He was a devoted and caring individual who cherished the time he spent with his family, especially during holidays. Jeffery’s life was marked by simple joys and meaningful moments shared with those he loved.
A life-long fan of the University of Michigan, Jeffery found happiness in supporting his favorite team. He enjoyed attending Saginaw Spirit hockey games with his brother, Chris, and spent quiet hours engaged in word searches, puzzles, and bible study. These hobbies reflected his thoughtful and steady nature.
Jeffery was proud to have competed in Special Olympics events, a testament to his determination and spirit. This accomplishment was a significant part of his life and something that brought him joy and a sense of achievement.
He is survived by his sister, Lori Jackson, and her husband, Nero Jackson, as well as his nieces Victoria Herzberg and Payton Jackson. Jeffery was also close to his brother, John Peters, and companion, Sherry Forrest. Their presence in his life was a source of comfort and companionship.
Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Herzberg and Roberta Graff Herzberg, as well as his brother, Chris Herzberg. Though they are no longer with him, the memories of these relationships remained close to his heart.
Jeffery Herzberg will be remembered for his warmth, his love of family, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. His legacy will continue through the lives of those who knew and loved him.
