Mr. Jeffery Wayne "Roho" Franklin, of Dyersburg, passed away at his residence on Friday, December 22, 2023.  Jeff was born February 17, 1984 to Jim Franklin & Minnie Cox.  He worked as a welder and in construction.  He loved farming as a youngster and later was a daredevil at heart, always looking for fast and exciting things to do, including drag racing, riding motorcycles and wakeboarding.  He was deeply devoted to his family and friends and loved to help others in need.

He is survived by his wife, Katie Anderson Franklin, his son, Cayden Franklin, his daughter, Kadence Franklin, his mother, Minnie Cox, his father, Jim Franklin, his brother, Bo Franklin (Erica), Steven Franklin (Alexis), Richie Cox (Alanna), his sisters, Christy Hunt (Rusty), Shelly Walker (Justin), Amy Ford (Kent), his grandparents, Barbara & Wayne Franklin, his cousin, Josh Lovell, his best friend, Will Rushing and a host of nieces & nephews.  He is preceded in death by his sister, Trisha Bryant, his stepfather, Richard Cox, his grandfather, Johnny Gurley and grandparents, George & Virginia Franklin.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2023 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. with funeral services to be held in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jay, Jacob & Blake Franklin, Josh Lovell, Johncise Hicks & Josh Butler.  Honorary pallbearers will be Cottrell Hicks, Bo Franklin, Ritchie Cox & Tyler Canada.
