Jean Hughes Walk, 78, of Finley, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at her residence.

She was born on September 2, 1940, in Memphis, TN, to the late, Randolph Richard Hughes, Sr. and the late Ruby Jewell Smith Hughes. Jean was a pole assembler at ERMCO and was a member of Finley Baptist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2019 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Doug Walk of Finley, TN; a daughter, Penny Walk of Dyersburg, TN; five sisters, Lydia Andrews of Wynne, AR, Rosie French of Newbern, TN, Jo Ann Mitchell of Dyersburg, TN, Carol Clark of Nebo, TN and Sandy Sanders of Dyersburg, TN; and two brothers, Richard Hughes of Big Sandy, TN and Marvin Hughes of Dyersburg, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Randy Hughes and D.W. Hughes.

Pallbearers will be Randall Hughes, Michael Hale, Greg Hunter, Richard Kelly Hughes, Brett Moore and Coby Kimbrell.
