Jean Forsythe Spence, 80, of Smyrna, formerly of Dyersburg, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at her residence.
She was a retired Accounting Officer for First Tennessee Bank, a lifelong resident of Dyersburg having lived in Smyrna since the year 2000, a member of Southside Church of Christ in Smyrna, a former member of Lake Road Church of Christ in Dyersburg and a graduate of Dyersburg High School.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Michael Pickford officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Collie Marshall Spence, Jr. of Smyrna; a son, Mark T. Spence and wife, Monica, of Smyrna; a sister, Mary Kathryn Forsythe Payne of Memphis; and two grandchildren, Hanna Mari Spence and Hunter Marshall Spence, both of Smyrna.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde C. and Willie Crosthwait Forsythe; and a sister, Virginia Ann "Ginger" Shelton.
Pallbearers will be David Spence, James Spence, Jeremy Spence, Thomas Spence, John Marshell Sanders and Spence Lowery.
