Jason "Big E" Eaves, 50, of Newbern, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton, KY.
He was a mechanic for Tri-County Equipment Company.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Wilford Mobley officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Hornbeak.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Peggy and Richard Smith of Tiptonville; his father, Tom Eaves of Obion; five sisters, Kay Eaves Mungle, Amanda Smith Murray and Jennifer Spicer, all of Tiptonville, Jo Ann Gardiner of Murray, KY and Stephanie May of Danville, VA; three brothers, Shane Eaves of Obion, Glenn Smith of Tiptonville and Tim Smith of Dresden; and thirteen nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Danny Pledge, Tim Marshall, Donnie Winberry, Robert Maupin, William Sample and Milford Murphy. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Breeden and James Hendrix.
