Janice Kaye Dunnam, 70, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born on June 3, 1949, in Nashville, TN, to the late Billy Joe Adams and the late Wanda Lavelle Poole Cooley. Janice was a retired nurse from Western State Hospital in Bolivar and was also a cosmetologist.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. James Branscum officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Dunnam of Dyersburg, TN; a son, Jeff Johnson; two grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Richard Mark Cooley of Friendship, TN; and one sister, Susan Cooley of Paducah, KY. She also leaves behind two nieces, Beth Crawford of Friendship, TN and Stephonie Cooley of Dyersburg, TN; one great-nephew, Colin Crawford; two great-nieces, Bianca Crawford and Jordan Hall; and two dear friends, Willie Ford and Christine Dunn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen E. Cooley; and her aunts, Charlotte Coker and Louise White.

Memorials may be directed to LeBonheur Children's Hospital or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
