Janet Marie Pleasant, 71, of Friendship, Tn passed away on Tuesday January 6, 2015 in Alamo, Tn.

She was a homemaker and a member of Southfork Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Turner and Rev. John Fowler officiating. Burial will be at Palestine Cemetery near Bruceville. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m.Thursday at the Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter Tina Reynolds, of Dyersburg, a son Byron Pool and wife Gail, of Princeton, Ky., a sister Joan Lents, of Dyersburg, and two brothers Roger Pleasant and Larry Pleasant both of Dyersburg, three grandchildren, Brian Leathers, Hardin, Ky. Chris Pool, Princeton, Ky, and Chasity McAlister, Dyersburg, Tn. four great grandchildren Elyn Crews, Elijah Crews, Jacoby Crews and Jaelon McAlister.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herman Monroe and Helen Venell Watkins Pleasant, a sister Margaret Nell Broglin, a grandchild Mark Allen Crews and a great grandchild Sameul Isaiah Crew.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
