Jane Elizabeth Evans' Obituary
Jane Elizabeth Evans, 73, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at her daughter's residence in Dyersburg.
She was a retired Florist with Kroger Floral Department and Parkview Florist and a member of Hurricane Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Ragsdale officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Bentley Hawatt and husband, Abe, of Dyersburg; a son, Michael Eugene Evans of Dyersburg; a sister, Dorothy Burns of Dyersburg; a brother, Gene Dewayne Pounders of Halls; three grandchildren, Heather James and husband, David, and Brian Bentley, all of Halls and Ashley Jones of San Diego, CA; four great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. Evans and her parents, Jim and Luby Parker Pounders.
Pallbearers will be Wade Burns, Keith Burns, Brad Pounders, Larry Evans, Eric Felkner and Jeff Jones.
