Jamilu Ann Nelson, 58, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at her residence.

She was born on June 14, 1964, in Dyersburg, TN, to Barbara Ann Brashier Butler and the late James Rose. Jamilu was an employee of Ollie's Discount Store and attended Three Oaks Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery with Mr. Rick Crawford and Rev. Billy Tucker officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her mother, Barbara Butler of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Debbie Bennett of Rushville, MO; a brother, Cledus Butler, Jr; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Jamilu was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Nelson; and a brother, James Rose III.
