James Wilbern "Bosco" Mallard, 68, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired employee of the city of Dyersburg, a member of First Assembly of God Church in Newbern, retired from the U.S. Army after 26 years, and worked for Oldberg Manufacturing.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Lyndel Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery in RoEllen.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Ann Mallard of Dyersburg; a daughter, Mary LuAnn Dombrowski and husband, Terry, of Newbern; a son, William "Bubba" Mallard and wife, Melisa, of Lakeland; three sisters, Shirley Ramey of Trenton, and Kathy Gilliland and Liz Hinson, both of Dyersburg; two brothers, Nathan Mallard of Dyersburg and Ronnie Mallard of Covington; and three grandchildren, Michael Avery, David Matthew Dombrowski and Rebecca Morgan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jewel Mallard, and a grandchild, Maridath Ann Dombrowski.
Pallbearers will be Richard Ross, Keith Mallard, Randy Crenshaw, Kevin Gilliland, Jarad Mallard, J.T. Montgomery, James Ramey and Chris Ramey.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to First Assembly of God Church in Newbern.
