James "Shorty" Wales' Obituary
James A. "Shorty" Wales, 88, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 at his residence.
He was retired as a salesman for Security Life of Georgia Insurance Co., a member of Fowlkes United Methodist Church, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Thompson Jr., Bro. Joe Walker Jr. and Bro. John Lowrance officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Wales; a daughter, Cindy Walker and husband, Joe Walker Jr., of Dyersburg; a son, Ronnie Wales of Dyersburg; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brooks, Mark Edmundson, Derek Wales, Ronnie Wales, Jon Walker and Brandon Brooks.
