James Franklin Tolley, Jr., 66, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away peacefully at home on April 18, 2023 surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

He was born on December 29, 1956 to the late Melba and James F. Tolley, Sr. He was known as Tolley in and around the Reelfoot Lake Community. Tolley was an avid bass fisherman who was well known as one of Reelfoot's top fisherman. His two passions were his family and fishing.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2023 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff O'Dell and Bro. Leonard York officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.

The Tolley Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son and fishing partner, Jason Tolley (Crystal); a daughter, Kayla Howard (Brad); five grandchildren, Amber Cardwell (Zack), Lexie Tolley, Hailey Burrus, Jessica Burrus and Jacob Burrus; two great-grandsons, Hudson Cardwell and Hendrix Cardwell; one great-grandchild on the way; three step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and wife, Diana.

In addition to his parents, Tolley was preceded in death by a brother, Bert Tolley.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Burrus, Josh Jones, Derek Hicks, Zack Cardwell, Jacob Howard and Brent Callicot. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Jones, Bill Jones, Larry Jones, Elmer Staggs, Roy Randall and Keith Randall.
