Mr. James Allen Tirey, of Dyersburg, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2024 at his residence.  James was born in Flint, MI on December 31, 1950 to the late Virgil & Evelyn Tirey. He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Dyersburg.

James is survived by his sisters, Lanita Joan Tirey and Deborah Wheeler, of Dyersburg, several nieces and nephews, his grandchildren, Christopher Allen Tirey & Samantha Brooke Tirey and three great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jeffery Tirey.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of James Allen Tirey will be planned and held at a later time.
