James "Jim" Theodore Miller, age 73, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at his residence.

Jim was born on June 14, 1950, in Ogden, Kansas to the late, Mary Elizabeth Allen Markham and Ted Miller. He enjoyed listening to all types of music and loved playing the guitar. Jim enjoyed watching old movies and being outdoors.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, TN.

The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his two daughters, Stephanie Rogers and husband, Ricky, of Dyersburg, TN and Vanessa Davis and husband, Dave, of South Fulton,TN; three brothers, Bill Markham and wife, Julie, Donald Markham and wife, Sharon and Jack Markham, all of Dyersburg, TN; three grandsons, Air Force Staff Sergeant, Chris Brewer of Okinawa, Japan, Jordan Patterson and wife, Hannah, of Nolensville, TN and U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Dallen Patterson of Jacksonville, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Mary and Elbert Markham.

Pallbearers will be Bill Markham, Donald Markham, Jack Markham, Brad Markham, Ray Markham and Dustin Markham.
