James Richard Steele's Obituary
James Richard Steele, 74, of Tiptonville, formerly of Halls, died Monday, April 23, 2012 at Reelfoot Manor Nursing Center.
He was born on March 15, 1938 in Blytheville, AR to Henry Richard Steele and Mary Edna Newberry.
He was a retired farmer.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti, MO next to his wife.
Survivors include his two sisters, Ethel Adams of Woodlawn, TN and Dora Smith of Clarksville, TN; and a brother, Walter Steele of Halls, TN.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ann Steele; his parents; his maternal grandparents, Charley Waldo Newbery and Maggie Bell "Harlow" Newberry; his paternal grandparents, John Steele and Annie "Stein" Steel; and a sister, Bethel Williams.
