James Allan Sneed, 60, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at his residence.

James was born on April 26, 1961, in Ripley, TN, to the late, William Tucker Sneed and the late Loretta Walker Sneed Williams. He was a self-employed construction worker and was a Baptist by faith.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale True officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Sneed of Tiptonville, TN; two sons, Austin Sneed of Trimble, TN and James Bradley Sneed of Dallas, TX; a step-son, Jonathan Ray of San Diego, CA; a step-daughter, Tia Cochran of Samburg, TN; a sister, Sandy Sneed of Tiptonville, TN; three brothers, Tim Sneed of Alexandria, VA, Bob Sneed of Ridgely, TN and Jeff Sneed of Dyersburg, TN; a step-brother, Kevin Williams (Debbie) of Munford, TN; a sister-in-law, Sherry Owens of Tiptonville, TN; and two grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his step-father, Paul Williams; a step-sister, Davona Parker; and a brother, Billy Ray Sneed.
