James Robert McCoy, Sr., 62, of Ridgely, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009 at his residence.

He was a retired John Deere Parts Manager for Ag Center and a member and deacon for Wynnburg Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wynnburg Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Byassee and Bro. Carl Southerland officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret McCoy of Ridgely; two sons, Robert McCoy of Ridgely and Brad McCoy of Dyersburg; a sister, Paula Hanna of Dyersburg; a brother, William McCoy of Tiptonville; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Pearl Simmons McCoy; and a brother, Danny Wayne McCoy.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Flowers, Trent Patterson, Kent Patterson, William Hopkins, Randy Robertson and Brad Glass. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Marvin and Joe Boy Marvin.
