James William "Jimi" Butler's Obituary
James William "Jimi" Butler, 62, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.
He was born on September 17, 1955, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Claude Butler and the late Rachel Presley Butler. Jimi was a machinist for Cupples J & J and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg. He loved photography and was also a guitarist.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Mark Agee officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Kellie Butler of Dyersburg; and two step-sons, Barrett Summar and Brennan Summar, both of Murfreesboro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David L. Butler.
The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
