James D. "Jim" Rose, 71, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at his residence.
He was a retired purchasing agent for Material Service Corporation in Romeoville, IL. where he worked for 36 years, a lifetime member of Hampton Park Social Athletic Club in Romeoville, IL., member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1557 since 1974 in Lockport, IL., member of Automobile Mechanics Union Local 701 in Chicago, IL. and a U.S. Army veteran.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Sue Rose of Dyersburg; a daughter, Molly Squires and husband, Matt, of Dyersburg; two step-daughters, Michelle Baumgardner and fiance` Richard Prisk of Ft. Atkinson, WI and Becky Brannock-Kevan and husband, Jesse, of Plainfield, IL; a step-son, Bob Brannock of Texas; two sisters, Catheryn Partin and husband, Doc, of Galconda, IL and June Jackson of Rosiclare, IL; two brothers, John Rose and wife, Carol, of Tucson, AZ and Robert "Skip" Rose and wife, Delores, of Bethalto, IL; and four grandchildren, Alexandra Squires, Allison Prisk, Melissa Pearson and Nicole Pearson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Gypsy Finney Rose; three sisters, Ann Rose, Agatha Gibbs and Elizabeth Edwards; and three brothers, Troy Rose, Wilbur Rose and Brannon Rose.
