James Lee Howard, 64, of Tiptonville, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at his residence.

He was a retired carpenter and a member of First Baptist Church in Tiptonville.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Jeff O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his daughter, Carol England and husband, Joe, of Tiptonville; three sons, Joey Howard, Brad Howard and wife, Kayla, and Eric Howard, all of Tiptonville; a brother, David Howard of Greenfield; fourteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Pauline Tolley Howard.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Sherrell, Gene Mills, Dustin Roberts, Jacob Howard, Kevin Allen and Alex Howard.
