James Richard Hilliard's Obituary
James Richard Hilliard, 87, of Obion, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at his residence.
He was a retired carpenter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mike Lavender officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Pattye Marlene Hilliard of Obion; two daughters, Jimmie Ann Flick of Illinois and Jamie Marlene Vaughn of Tiptonville; two sons, Tony Lee Hilliard of Moulton, AL. and James Richard Hilliard, Jr. of Ridgely; two sisters, Minnie Lou Barton of Mississippi and Ivy Lou Tucker of Dickson; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his son, Roger Dale Hilliard; and his parents, Curry and Ora Dane Hilliard.
Pallbearers will be Junior Elam, Tommy Elam, Bradley Dean and Michael McCord.
