James Edward Harrington, 78, of Finley, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at AHC Dyersburg.

James was born on October 20, 1941, in St. Louis, MO. He was a retired employee with Colonial Rubber.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Royce McGuire officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include his daughter, Debra Kay Shoulders of Ripley, TN; a son, Junior Gruggett of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Mary Sue Ray and husband, Gary, and Pamela Taylor, all of Dyersburg, TN; and three brothers, Clarence Pierce, Eddie Gene Pierce and Jimmy Dale Hilliard, all of Dyersburg, TN.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Harrington; and two sisters, Betty Jean Smith and Brenda Lumley.

The staff of Dyersburg Funeral Home will serve as pallbearers.
