James Harold White, 70, of Dyersburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was a retired employee for Heckethorn Manufacturing. He was a member of Newbern Assembly of God and a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. White was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Pastor Dee Peevyhouse officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his two daughters, Nancy Wilson and husband, Steve, and Kim Sheets and fiancé, Kevin Brooks, all of Dyersburg; two sons, Terry White and wife, Debra, of Newbern and Keith White and wife, Monica, of Dyersburg; a brother, Ronnie White of Nashville; five sisters, Libby Davis of Churchton, Mary Blalock and Janice Taylor, both of Dyersburg, Lynn Batey of Nashville and Brenda Spangler of Springfield; eighteen grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann White; and a daughter, Debbie Bryson.
Pallbearers will be Danny Clark, Corey White, Anthony Kilzer, Michael Bryson, Wesley White and Richard Hallum. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Baker and Louis Drummond.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society.
