James Russell Forrest's Obituary
James Russell Forrest, 65, of Tiptonville, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 at his residence.
He was a retired farmer.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Grimes officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Bennett Forrest, of Tiptonville; two daughters, Karen Forrest and Lori Rivers, both of Tiptonville; a son, James Ricky Forrest, of Tiptonville; a sister, Ruby Forrest, of Tiptonville; three brothers, William Forrest, of Tiptonville, Billy Forrest, of Hornbeak, and Roger Forrest, of Troy; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Buford and Lillie Johnson Forrest; a sister, Peggy Joyce Forrest; and two brothers, W.C. Forrest and Bobby Earl Forrest.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Bennett, Matt McGrath, Anthony Lovell, Richie Turner, Ralph Decker, and Brian Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Skipper Pierce, John Howell, Bubba Rivers, and Terry Jamison II.
