James Larry Crews, 69, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired vending attendant for Burch Food Services and served in the Tennessee Army National Guard. He was an avid horseman and a member of the Newbern Saddle Club. He was a Baptist.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Eddie Crumley Crews of Dyersburg; a daughter, Amy Morgan and husband, Mike, of Dyersburg; a son, James Larry "Jay" Crews II and wife, Dorothy, of Bartlett; and two grandchildren, Trip Crews of Martin and Lauren Crews of Halls.
He was preceded in death by his parents, F.F. and Mary Sue Perry Crews; and a sister, Mary Franklin Meeks.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
