James Ernest Cline, 72, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

James was born on September 3, 1951, in Tipton, IN, to the late Ralph and Rose Guilkey Cline. He was a self-employed carpenter. James loved to work, fish and garden. He proudly served his county in the United States Marine Corps.

Cremation services are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his two sons, Jason Cline from Spring Branch, TX and Joshua Cline; a brother, Michael Cline of Tiptonville, TN; and a granddaughter, Kylana Cline from San Antonio, TX.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Cline.
