James "Jim" Wilbern Brown, 91, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Reelfoot Manor in Tiptonville, TN.

Jim was born on December 15, 1928, in Rutherford, TN, to the late, Joe and Eula Brown. He was retired from Oldberg Manufacturing and was a member of Second Baptist Church. Jim loved coon hunting and farming. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Jacky Goad officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include his two daughters, Linda Henry and husband, Bill, of Dyersburg, TN and Lisa Abel of Newbern, TN; a son, Jamie Brown of Paris, TN; five grandchildren, Becky Knox of Crockett Mills, Susan Hart of Arlington, TN, John Brown of Paris, TN, Lindsey Parker of Dyersburg, TN and Brandon Gooch of Newbern, TN; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Seratt Brown; two brothers, Harry Brown and Bill Brown; and a sister, Pauline Flatt.

Pallbearers will be Corey Jeffries, Chris Parker, Robert Brown, Terry Brown, Kelly Joe Brown and Steve Larkin.
