James Earl Barron, 48, of Decatur, AL, formerly of Lenox, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
He was a truck driver for Frawley & Schilling Trucking Company.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerry Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his two sons, Jacob Ryan Barron of Decatur, AL and James Earl Barron, Jr. of Arizona; a daughter, Ashley Barron of Dyersburg; five step-children, Danielle and Patrick McGuire of Bluffton, SC, Brandon and Brandi Pumfrey of Jasper, AL, Sophia Woods Chesier of Greenwood, IN, Tamara Woods of Anderson, IN and Amanda and Adam Lozier of Kalamazoo, MI; his longtime companion, Laura Barron of Hartselle, AL; a brother, William "Bill" Barron of Decatur, AL; a sister, Annie Barron Gipson of Corinth, MS; three grandchildren, Gage Woods, Brantley and Kilian McGuire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelton and Mae Clark Barron; and a brother, Robert Edward "Bobby" Barron.
Pallbearers will be James Shipman, David Crum, Charles Barron, Zack Pope, David McGuire and Jerry Daniels.
