James Wallace Bailey's Obituary
James Wallace Bailey, 79, of Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at his residence.
He was born on January 10, 1938 in Gibson County, TN to the late, L.Z. Bailey and the late Lily Whitehead Bailey. James was retired from the maintenance department with Ermco. He liked to fish and cook with friends.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Crews officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 2-3 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Bailey of Dyersburg; two daughters, Teri Thomas of Cordova and Kim Greene of Dyersburg; a sister, Frances Acor; four grandchildren, Colby Barrom, Chad Hager, Logan Hager and Tori Golden; and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, John L. Bailey, L.V. Bailey and Billy Bailey; and three sisters, Opal Malugen, Hazel Lewis and Louise Pierce.
Pallbearers will be Chad Hager, Logan Hager, Colby Barrom, Larry Christian, Truman McQueen and Tommy Reed. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Seiber and Scotty Hager.
