James Stanley Ayers, 69, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at his residence.

James was born on December 5, 1951, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Paul and Helen Davis Ayers. He was a retired driver with Northwest Area Transportation Services.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Edmondson officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Ayers of Dyersburg, TN; a son, James Ayers of Atoka, TN; a daughter, Jennifer Daugherty and husband, Keith, of Brighton, TN; a sister, Brenda Gable of Newbern, TN; and four grandchildren, Emory Clark, Anna Clark, Ashton Ayers and Peyton Ayers.
