Jacky Ray Anderson's Obituary
Jacky Ray Anderson, 73, of Newbern, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at his residence.
He was a retired welder for Republic Builders. Mr. Anderson was a former longtime employee of Sylvania and was an avid sports fan.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Nathe Ozment officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his daughter, Stacye Moore and husband, Mark, of Olive Branch, MS; a son, Marty Anderson of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Elaina Moore, Andrew Moore, Cody Anderson and Hunter Anderson; and his companion, Frances Lemons of Dyersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Atlas and Ruby Palmer Anderson; a sister, Peggy Gourley; and a brother, David Wayne Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Randy Stephens, Barry Hart, Lynn Welch, John Davis, Carl Braddy and Roger Meadows. Honorary pallbearers will be Elbert Petty and Danny Cooper.
