Jackie Wayne Griffith, 60, of Hornbeak, died Monday, January 3, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was retired from C&W Motors, U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, member of Hornbeak Baptist Church and a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Ridgely.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Griffith of Hornbeak; a daughter, Michelle Keely of Hornbeak; four sons, Brandon Griffith of Memphis, Tim Griffith and wife, Carla, of Newbern, Levi Griffith and wife, Erin, of South Fulton and Burt Tragessor and wife, Suzanne, of Ridgely; three sisters, Rachel Ann Keeling of Troy, Debbie Kay Bolding of Kenton and Jennifer Michelle Kethireddy of Memphis; two brothers, Raymond Howard Griffith and Bobby Joe Griffith, both of Union City; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. and Meta Haney Griffith.
Pallbearers will be Hank Keeling, David Keeling, Andrew Keeling, James Bolding, Joey Griffith, Tom McCollum and Bruce Keely.
The family requests that memorials may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans.
