Jack Edward Spicer, 81, of Tiptonville, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a Professional Fishing and Hunting Guide, attended Samburg Assembly of God Church and an U.S. Army Veteran of Korean War.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Dale True officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his four sons, Bobby Spicer and wife, Jennifer, Gary Spicer and Pete Gray and wife, Marilyn, all of Tiptonville and Mike Spicer and wife, Cindy, of Okemos, MI; three sisters, Alice Bachar of Union City, Ginny Caksackker of Hornbeak and Joan Spicer of California; fourteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Spicer; a son, Mark Spicer; and his parents, Amos and Mary Coleman Spicer.
Pallbearers will be Butch Archie, David Pierce, Justin Spicer, William Preslar, Nick Toon and Timothy Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Marlow Smith and Richard Spicer.
