J B Turnbo, 76, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

J B was born on November 12, 1943, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Claude and Christine Burns Turnbo. He was the owner of Turnbo Electric Heat and Air. J B was also a plumber and a sheet metal fabricator. He was a Baptist by faith.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. William Turnbo officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Turnbo Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Lee Turnbo of Dyersburg, TN; three sisters, Erline Turnbo Dudley and Joyce Turnbo Phillips, both of Dyersburg, TN and Nelda Turnbo Ozment and husband, Alex, of Bartlett, TN; a nephew, Jason Phillips; four nieces, Jackie Phillips Smith, Jessica Baker Brown, Amy Dudley Jones and Samantha Dudley Elgin; nine great-nieces and nephews; and eleven great-great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jason Phillips, Sean Phillips, Daryon Taylor, Jimmy Turnbo, Timmy Turnbo and Paul Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Gean Rogers, Robert H. Moore, Robert Bevis, Bobby "Bull" Goodwin, Tommy Golladay and Billy Johnson.
