Isabelle Rogers Algee, 80, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
She was a retired plant assigner for Southern Bell, member of First United Methodist Church in Ridgely, member of the Eastern Star, where she served as Grand Electra of Florida in 1969, member of Lake County Historical Society and member of West Florida Genealogical Society.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Emerson officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her three sons, John B. Algee of Buckhannon, WV., Lawrence W. Algee of Pensacola, FL. and Ralph L. Algee of Ft. White, FL.; a daughter, J. Kathryn Harper of Maysville, GA.; a brother, Dr. John Lewis Rogers of Pensacola, FL.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Sands Algee; her parents, John and Pearla Fay Lewis Rogers; and a brother, Dr. Raymond Edwin Rogers.
Pallbearers will be Allen Shirley, Bob Shull, Brad Keiser, John Leonard Moore, Wil Keiser, Peter Keiser, John Ryan Lemonds, Denny Johnson, Trent Patterson, Kent Patterson and Jimmy Dale Snyder. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Bargery, Isaac Shell, Jerry Mac Shull, Aaron Staulcup and Dr. Robin Algee.
