Irma Sisk Whitt, 72, of Dyersburg, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Oakwood Community Living Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Ballinger officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Lissa Whitt Kimbro and husband, Johnny, Jr., and Joyce Dallas White and husband, Michael, all of Newbern; two sons, Harold Wayne Thurmond and wife, Kay, and Gary Wayne Whitt and wife, Pat, all of Dyersburg; three brothers, Francis Sisk of Newbern and Jerry Sisk and Thomas Sisk, both of Dyersburg; ten grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ernest Whitt; her parents, Rufus and Eva Smith Sisk; a sister, Kathy Dale Sisk; and a brother, Robert Sisk.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Thurmond, Johnny Kimbro, Brad Dallas, Josh Whitt, Ben Lewis and Adam Lee.
