Irene Elizabeth "Beth" Haynes, 87, of Tiptonville, died Monday, May 2, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Federal Compress, member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, she was active in Tiptonville Women's Club, Tiptonville Library, past President of PTA, and a poll worker for many years for the Lake County Election Commission.
A private family Mass will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Robert Stellini officiating. Burial will be at New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her two sons, Charles A. Haynes of Sanford, NC. and Brian M. Haynes of Dana Point, CA.; a sister, Delores Higdon of Libertyville, IL.; and three grandchildren, Michael Haynes, Jennifer Haynes and Kimberly Morris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Derrell H. "Billy" Haynes; and her parents, Charles and Irene Dagger Graf.
Dyersburg Funeral Home Staff will serve as pallbearers.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Holy Angels Catholic Church.
