Inez Hicks, 82, of Dyersburg, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.

She was a retired nurses aid at Wesley of Dyersburg Nursing Home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Travis Davison officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her three daughters, Brenda Pierce (Wilburn) of Dyersburg, Joan Webb of Dyersburg and Linda Parsons (Joe David) of Troy; a son, Billy Joe Hicks, Jr. (Twyla) of Friendship; two step-sons, James Hicks of Memphis and Richard Hicks of Memphis; two sisters, Gladys Crittenden of Hickman, KY and Pat McCullough of Union City; a brother, Johnny Murray of Hickman, KY; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Hicks; a daughter, Peggy Norman; her parents, Luther and Vera Adams Murray; a sister, Betty Clark; and two brothers, Robert Murray and James Murray.

Pallbearers will be Justin Hicks, Joshua Hicks, John Hicks, Michael Hicks, Michael Bailey and Danny Moore.
