Imogene Cooper Hurt, 79, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, MO.

She was born on May 8, 1939, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Ernest Cooper and the late Myrtle Oller Cooper. Imogene was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2018 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Mr. Shannon Walker officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Shelia Hurt; and a granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marcus Hurt; two sisters, Thelma Pugh and Alma Rumley; and six brothers, Alvin Cooper, E.J. Cooper, Granville Cooper, Raymond Cooper, Roy Cooper and Troy Cooper.
