Obituary

Imogene Butcher, 82, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Scott Owen officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Chester Butcher; a daughter, Judy Meeks and husband, Bud, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sons, Ron Butcher and wife, Shirley, and Tommy Butcher and wife, Judy, all of Dyersburg; four sisters, Dot Hollomon and Frances Slaughter, both of Dyersburg, Patty Jefferies of Memphis and Betty Swims of Jackson; two brothers, Billy Lowery of Dyersburg and Ted Lowery of Jackson; five grandchildren, Katie Richardson, Nick Butcher, Brad Butcher, Jason Meeks and Ashlee Butcher; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lucy Kate Lowery; and a brother, James Lowery.

Pallbearers will be David Haddock, Gerald Swims, Hollis Jefferies, Ricky Lowery, Carl Schultz and Danny Lowery.

The family requests that any memorials be directed to Parr Avenue Church of Christ.
