Obituary

Imogene Mitchell Bedwell, 93, of Tiptonville, died Friday, April 20, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS.

She was a retired beautician, where she worked for over 50 years in her shop in Owl City and a member of Crockett's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville with the Rev. Ralph Gunter and the Rev. Marita Burkeen officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 9-11 a.m. Monday at the church.

Survivors include her daughter, Janice M. Jones and husband, Dr. E.M. "Sonny", of Meridian, MS; two sisters, Modest Tolar of Ridgely and Louise Glenos of Mobile, AL; and two grandchildren, Janet Brown and husband, Paul, of Meridian, MS and Marilyn Davis and husband, Allen, of Little Rock, AR.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, W.M. "Jack" Mitchell and James Bedwell; her parents, Marshall and Eva Young Weaver; and two brothers, M.C. Weaver and J.B. Weaver.

Pallbearers will be Danny Armstrong, James "Bubba" Tolar, Jackie Flowers, Lonnie Vaughn, Johnny Dean and Harry Glenos, Jr.

The family requests that memorials be directed to Crockett's Chapel United Methodist Church.
