Ima Joyce Ramsey's Obituary
Ima Joyce Ramsey, 71, of Newbern, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Newbern.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Renita Baker of Newbern; two sons, Timothy Ramsey and wife, Shevonne, of Newbern and Johnny Ramsey and wife, Shirley, of Baltimore, MD; three brothers, Carlton McCann and wife, Gail, and Tony McCann and wife, Cindy, all of Dyersburg and Ray McCann and wife, Beverly, of Newbern; seven grandchildren, Will Ramsey, Alesia Ramsey, Chrissie Hamblin, Greg Ramsey, Tim Ramsey, Ashley Barron and Brian Baker; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ramsey; her parents, Earl and Ottist Moore McCann; and a brother, Fred McCann.
Pallbearers will be Mike Hardin, David Hamblin, Joe Moody, Dennis Moody and Bobby Box.
