Ibbie Lock Ledford, 87, of Sevierville, TN, formerly of Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Le Conte Medical Center in Sevierville, TN.

Ibbie was born on August 6, 1932, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late George Washington Lock and the late Eva Maud Lane Lock. She was a writer and wrote four published books.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Bob King officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Hill Cemetery.

The Ledford Family will receive visitors from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her two sons, Stephen Ledford (Sharron) of Brighton, TN and Timothy Ledford (Tami) of Sevierville, TN; a daughter, Deborah Carrigan (Robert Taylor) of Southaven, MS; four grandchildren, Stephen Ledford, Jr. (Kristian), Tray Ledford (Mindy), Deidra Stephens Clark (Benji) and William Aubrey Stephens (Allyson); and eight great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Ledford, Caroline Ledford, Ruby Clark, Juno Clark, Sean Stephens, Bailey Stephens, Wyatt Ledford and Weston Ledford.

In addition to her parents, Ibbie was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Ledford; three sisters, Margaret Harness, Johnny Louise Countess and Brownie Irene Stokes; and six brothers, David Austin Lock, Robert Lock, Charles Lock, Wallace Lock, Don Lock and Tom Lock.

Pallbearers will be Steve Ledford, Jr., Tray Ledford, Will Stephens, Bartt Jowers, Mark McKee and Dan Wright.
