Hollis Donald Ozment, Sr., 84, of Tiptonville, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was a retired farmer. Mr. Hollis was an avid gardener and a Baptist.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. John Troutman officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Vera Brigman Ozment of Tiptonville; two daughters, Elizabeth Warren and husband, Johnny, and Peggy Cook and husband, Ted, all of Tiptonville; a son, Hollis Donald Ozment, Jr. of Thayer, MO; a brother, Paul Ozment of Crockett County; and two grandchildren, Amber Ann Warren and Megan Warren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Ann Ozment; his parents, Ike and Winnie Harber Ozment; a sister, Winnie B. Ozment; and five brothers, James Ozment, Wes Ozment, Buddy Ozment, Joe Ozment and Buford Ozment.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Warren, John Lindamood, Ted Cook,Donald Ozment, Michael Wiggins and Cornelius Hughes.
