Herman Louis Decker, 61, of Tiptonville, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at his residence.

He was a retired employee with the Lake County Highway Department. He was a Baptist.

As per Herman's request, there will be no memorial service. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Anthony Decker of Tiptonville; a daughter, Karena Decker Gonzalez of Arcadia FL; a son, Robert Louis Decker of Tiptonville; three sisters, Judy Booth of Okeechobee, FL, Dorothy White of Ridgely and Becky Dunn of Tiptonville; five brothers, Jessie Decker, Ricky Decker and Larry Decker, all of Tiptonville, John Decker of Randleman, NC and Ernest Decker of Trenton; four grandchildren, Linda Gonzalez, Dora Gonzalez, Juan Gonzalez and Alex Gonzalez; and three great-grandchildren, Talon Gonzalez, Zach Gonzalez and Zayden Gonzalez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Edwin Decker, Sr. and Stella Davis Decker; and a brother, David Edwin Decker, Jr.
