Henry Allen Lambert departed this life on July 4, 2010. He celebrated his 75th birthday on July 2, 2010. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His greatest passion was spending time with his family.

He spent time enjoying his passions in life with his family, bowling, fishing and hunting. His favorite baseball team was the Chicago Cubs. He retired from Universal Electric in 1999 after 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Margaret Ann Lambert, who departed this life on February 8, 2010; his parents, Henry Marshall and Dollie Mae (Gray) Lambert; two brothers, Floyd Ray Lambert and Audie Lambert; five sisters, Minnie Lee Holland, Mattie Mae Cummings, Mary Jewell Lambert, Betty Sue Culp and Peggy Lambert; one grandson, Ashley Thomas Lambert Sanders.

He leaves behind five children and their spouses; Judith Ann Lambert Haggard (Robert Dewayne Haggard) of Tiptonville, Allen Ray Lambert of Ripley, Anthony Dale (Tony) Lambert of Humboldt, David Wayne Lambert (Teresa Howell) of Selmer and Billy Wayne Lambert (Denise McLemore) of Dyersburg; one sister, Frances Evelyn Simpson of Marked Tree, AR.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cottonwood Baptist Church with Bro. Bob Dennison officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Jason Dewayne Haggard, Donald Lambert, Joseph Lambert, Timothy Arnold, David Lambert, Billy Lambert, Tony Lambert and Allen Lambert. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Baker, Harry Lambert, Johnny Lambert, Junior Holland, Arvel Culp and Ray Treece.
